It is strategically placed in Tuticorin, South India, so that the customers in the region can beneift from sourcing HIGH QUALITY abrasives processed in close proximity to them.

Founded in the year 1997, State of the art processing facility in Tuticorin is first of it's kind in the region.

Complimented by strategic sourcing of raw-materials from M/s Sterlite Copper, located within the immediate vicinity, the company has access to arround 500,000 metric tons of raw-material at any point of time.

The ideal location facilitates operational efficiency as well as cost effective distribution of the finished goods.

The company has the flexibility to produce the right abrasives for the right job within hours. With an installed capacity of around 90,000 MT per year, Universal is one of the largest processers of copper slag in the region, and is in a position to supply products to meet all the sophisticated requirements of the anti corrosion industry.
